Levels 3-4 • This three-movement major work was commissioned by AGEHR Area VIII for their 2010 Festival. Portraying the state of Kansas, the movements describe the Native Americans that lived in Kansas, a dance based on the state flower, the sunflower, and the state motto. For three to six octaves of handbells and three to five octaves of handchimes, this piece will make a dynamic concert piece.
