This new setting from Martha Lynn Thompson is for 3-5 octaves of handbells plus 9 optional handchimes (C4 - A6). The use of chromatics requires giving special attention to bell assignments. The melody of the second verse may be played with mallets on suspended bells. Versatile in its many options, this setting can also serve as an accompaniment to the singing of the hymn from the hymnal.
