Following the events of each day of Holy Week, Joel Raney has crafted a deeply moving and meaningful Tenebrae worship service. This 30-minute work features readings, choral anthems and the lighting and extinguishing of candles leading us through a musical journey depicting the events of Jesus' last seven days as described in the book of Matthew. The choral writing is accessible and designed to accommodate both SATB and SAB groups. The optional instrumental packet, which adds to the overall beauty and drama, includes a Conductor's Score and parts for Flute, Oboe, Violin and Cello.
