To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the New York Virtuoso Singers (Harold Rosenbaum, Artistic Director), the ensemble commissioned 25 contemporary composers to write 25 brief choral works. All 25 were premiered over two concerts and recorded on the Soundbrush Records "25 X 25". Stucky chose the Browning poem to express his admiration of the ensemble, and a YouTube recording is now available. For advanced choirs. Dur.: 5'
