Commissioned by the Bach Society of Dayton, Ohio, this beautiful setting is for SATB, (until the last chord when an optional divisi is indicated.) Written in a contemporary tonal language, mild dissonances are rich rather than jarring. While suitable for advanced ensembles, this is a useful and manageable piece for any sized group comfortable with a cappella singing.
