Terezín was the first "resettlement" town for the Jews in Czechoslovakia in 1941. These two folk songs, "The Gnat's Wedding" (Czech) and "The Roznov Clock" (Slovak) were tunes that were arranged and survived the camp. Dr. Nick Strimple has edited the selections, provided history, translation and pronunciation information. They are simple arrangements that are rich with culture and meaning and excellent for choirs of all ages.
