This arrangement of the popular spiritual "I Got a Home in-a That Rock" was commissioned by conductor Robert Fountain for the Oberlin College Choir. Reminiscent of the great spiritual settings by such composers as Hall Johnson, Jester Hairston, and especially William Dawson, this selection features an excellent opportunity to showcase a baritone soloist.
