I am delighted to welcome Andrew Bonacci to my series with this beautifully voiced and sensitive setting of an evocative poem by Sara Teasdale. Andrew was a doctoral composition student during my years as Director of Choral Activities at the University of Kansas and I have long admired his writing for voices: sonorous, colourful, imaginative, perceptive and always with immaculate voice leading!
