Though originally conceived as a wedding song, for which it will find much use, the text of this anthem from Colossians 3: 12-15 has a universal appeal because of its message of love and peace. Its timeliness at this moment in our history, adds impetus and hope that we may live our lives in love and peace, with God and our fellow human beings. The short phrases make for easy earning by children. The optional flute part enhances the repeat of the opening phrases when it appears in the recapitulation.
